John Birch - Chartered Tax Advisor

John started his professional tax career with the Inland Revenue in 1978. Having worked as an Inspector of Taxes and with several top 50 firms in London and the South West, John has gained a wealth of technical knowledge in taxation matters, from both sides of the fence. He also has the practical experience of starting his own business from scratch.

He deals with tax planning for individuals, husbands and wives, civil partnerships, sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts, including capital gains and inheritance tax.  John has considerable experience with business start-ups, incorporations, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, residence, domicile, payroll, Revenue investigations, subcontractor, IR35 and employment status disputes.

John lectures to special interest groups as well as acting as a consultant to fellow practitioners and other professionals.
